Have You Ever Wondered......

"Curiosity killed the cat, but for a while I was a suspect." - Stephen Wright

Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it sure has earned a lot of people graduate degrees.” - Robyn Irving

Curiosity may have killed the cat, but lack of curiosity would have killed thousands.” - James Morrow

Have you ever wondered if cats have nine lives, maybe curiosity doesn't kill them after all. Maybe they just morph into something else.

There is an endless list of things like that I wonder about. Some things are insignificant and trivial, others would rock your socks off. Some fit into the category of "pet peeve", but most are just observations from curiousity.

F'rinstance:

I wonder why fingernails grow faster than toe nails. Is it because they're in the light more?

I wonder why the lids of spaghetti sauce bottles are screwed on so tight when you buy them that it takes a team of firemen and 2 guys from the army corps of engineers to get it off (and believe me, seeing some stranger getting off in your kitchen, well THAT is something to see! ...but I digress). How are little old ladies who live alone supposed to handle that one. By eating KD for the rest of their lives?

I wonder why sometimes our pooh is hard and solid, and other times its soft and mushy. Ok, well I don't wonder about that one too much.

I wonder why the kids of the same parents can be so radically different.

Have you ever wondered why some people "relate" so much better than others do. I wonder about that sort of thing.

I wonder that, if it's true that plants grow when you talk to them, would they grow insecure if you yelled at them.

My family doctor just retired, and another fellow has taken over his practice. I wonder why they call what they do a "practice".

I wonder what colour a smurf turns if you choke him.

I wonder how you can tell when you've run out of invisible ink.

When I was California two summers ago, I decided to have my palm read. It's something I've always wanted to do. But it left me wondering, why do psychics have to ask you your name.

We know a whole lot about the speed of light. I wonder if anyone is working on the speed of dark.

I wonder if life would still have as much meaning as we give it if we didn't die at the end of it.

I wonder if the world ends at 5 o'clock someday, will they report it on the late night news.

I wonder why Xerox never comes up with anything original.

I wonder if this guy has any addictions he might want to consider getting help with.

I wonder why the coach or their teammates didn't say, "Hey guys, don't line up that way, ok?"

I often wonder what dogs dig for. They sure seem to have a compulsion to do it.

So, is there anything like that which gets your wonder-switch turned on? If you'd like, please feel free to add to the list. Feel Free. Free, I say!! Fly away! Fly away! Oh yeah! One more! Sometimes I wonder how thought strings manage to assemble themselves in my head, but that's a tough one because, well, it's the thought strings in my head that are doing the wondering now, ain't it?! I just don't trust them not to pull a really clever trick on me someday when I'm not looking I hate to always be the fall guy or the brunt of the trick...y'know what I mean?.

PEACE.

I always wonder how my keys can burrow to the bottom of my bag, even if I JUST put them in there two seconds earlier. I swear if I tossed them in my yard, they'd dig a hole to China...

By the way, that picture of the kids with the fish is hilarious -- that made me laugh out loud. :)

I always wondered if a cow could actually laugh would milk come out of his nose??

IUmmmm....Mackey....that would actually be out HER nose, right?!

Lisa: Can't help you there. My "purse" fits in my back pocket---it's called a wallet; you should try it sometime!

JJ: Hmmmm.... I can't tell if you're serious, but in case you are there's a detailed site of fahion females and males with tons of pics at http://handson.provocateuse.com. The neat thing about this site is that it divides the pictures up based on what they feature (i.e. the models hands, or barefoot, or wet, or wearing glasses.....etc.)

or at www.netglimse.com/celeb/ which has, again, tons of pictures of actors and actresses (probably everyone you've heard of, and a lot that you haven't). BTW, I did not misspell the name of the site either----there's no 'P'!!!

Enjoy!

D'oh! Yes you are right Rick...I guess it would be a "her".
It's not too hard to tell you used to be a teacher:)
I will really have to watch my spelling when I comment here:)

JJ: If a man is talking in the forrest and there is no woman there to hear him, is he still wrong???

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....hehehe...still laughing at that one ;)
