Hoe Do You Spell 'Aaarrrgh......'?
"Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion....I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterwards".
"My recipe for dealing with anger and frustration: set the kitchen timer for 20 minutes, cry, rant, rave, and at the sound of the bell, simmer down and go about business as usual" - Phyllis Diller
It just ain't worth it.
All good thoughts and so difficult to do at times.

Thanks for that. Most of those comments were aimed directly at myself, not anyone else. I read a very troubling post somewhere else on the net a few days ago, and it's been weighing very heavily on me ever since. I've been an advocate all along of tolerance of opposing points of view (without having to accept or agree with them), but this one was so full of vile, pure, unadulteralted and generalized hatred, that I'm finding it difficult to bite my tongue. I just don't understand where hatred that deep comes from, that's all. But, it obviously exists...and if I believe what I say I do, I have to at least listen. In this case, I'm not sure I can find the strength to do that...and that's what's bugging me. What was written, I think, borders on what could be considered a hate crime, wherever that line gets drawn..I'm not sure. I'm opinionated, and don't mind expressing my opinions, and perhaps I've crossed some lines too, i the heat of the debate, but never with the same intentions of vileness that I read about. Sorry, I'm ranting now, and I was just telling myself in my blog not to, but your comment gave me the out to set my timer to 20 minutes, and I hope I'll feel better for it.

I guess if you're going to preach tolerance you need to have your tolerance tested.
In my opinion it is not required of you that you tolerate hatred or any of the other terrible human sins that may or may not be redeemable.
I think it's enough that you be good to others when you can, stand up to them when you must, and ignore them the rest of the time.

Thanks for your kind comment on my blog. The "Integrity" poster is an amazing circle. Amazing circles can be made of anything including fractals, although in this instance, the base for the circles were some flowers. If you want more detail, feel free to contact me.
