Musical Tag - and still more fractals!

"Music is what feelings sound like"

"When you play music, you discover a part of yourself that you never knew existed."

KSHIPPYCHIC tagged 7 of her readers to list the 7 songs they're into right now. No matter what the genre, whether or not they have words, or even if they're good, they must be songs you're enjoying now. Post these instructions, she says, along with 7 songs, and then tag 7 others.

Well, since I'm the rookie kid on the block, I won't tag others, but I'll list mine here. It's a strange and mixed collection, but only because I've been spending the last few weeks digging out my record collection from storage, and trying to decide where to start copying the vinyl over to disc. As well, I've mentioned some of these songs in my recent posts, and they're still buzzing through my head (like "Lean On Me").

My seven:

Bob Dylan: "Too Much of Nothing"
Led Zeppelin: "Stairway to Heaven"
Mike and the Mechanics: "In the Living Years"
Wilson Pickett: "In the Midnight Hour"
Dwight Yoakum: "A Thousand Miles From Nowhere"
Beatles: "Long and Winding Road"
Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five: "The Message"
Aaron Neville: "Bird On a Wire"

(so, I can't count...sue me!)

"Dancing: the vertical expression of a horizontal desire, legalized by music." - George Bernard Shaw.

(...and it gives me another chance to post some more fractals {grin!!}

I once gave serious thought to joining the PEACE Corps when I flunked out of University.
Here's their link.

PEACE through music....the international language.

YAY!! Thanks for being a good sport!!

I dig the tornado one - reminds me of some preparation I have yet to do for the season here... It's yucky and rainy here today - but we need the rain!!

Where the hell did my comment go!! Oh well. You have progressed quite rapidly here, in this field of Fractals. Great work.

"The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and three hundred and sixty-two admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision." - Lynne Lavner*** I'm confused; curious; satisfied; realistically resigned to being a frustrated idealist; usually at peace with myself, but not always. Amazed at how little I know, and wondering how much I need to understand.
